Given that each use results in significant stress to the material, post-use inspection is also recommended but rarely possible due to the operator being unavailable (usually at the bottom of something).\n\n## Log\n\n### Inspection #47\n\n**Date:** Monday, 0800\n**Inspector:** Field Technician Morrison\n**Condition:** Band shows signs of fatigue at the left anchor point. Estimated 3 more uses before replacement.\n**Action:** None. Operator insists on using it today.\n\n### Post-Use #47\n\n**Date:** Monday, 1430\n**Condition:** Band intact. Operator was launched successfully. Operator returned to launch position involuntarily. Band showed no damage from the return impact. Operator showed significant damage.\n\n### Inspection #48\n\n**Date:** Wednesday, 0800\n**Inspector:** Field Technician Morrison\n**Condition:** Band appears to have stretched 4 feet overnight. No environmental cause identified. Band was not used between inspections.\n**Note:** Morrison reports the band \"twitched\" during inspection. This is not a known behavior of rubber bands. Referred to engineering.\n\n### Post-Use #48\n\n**Date:** Wednesday, 1100\n**Condition:** Band snapped during launch. Operator achieved partial altitude before returning to ground. Band fragments recovered. Left anchor point undamaged. Right anchor point missing.\n**Action:** Order replacement band. Order replacement anchor point.
