Summary

Operator painted a tunnel on the rock face at Mile Marker 7. Quality of the painting was exceptional. Even added a railroad crossing sign for realism.

Sequence of Events

1. Target approached at cruising speed
2. Target entered painted tunnel without slowing down
3. Sound of footsteps receding into distance (inside solid rock)
4. Operator examined tunnel painting, confirmed it was still paint
5. Operator attempted to enter tunnel
6. Rock face did not yield
7. A train emerged from the painted tunnel and struck the operator
8. The train then returned into the painting

Open Questions

• Where did the train come from?
• Where did the train go?
• Why did the operator paint railroad tracks?
• Is the paint sentient?

• File insurance claim
• Order more tunnel paint (we never learn)
