Psychological Monitoring

The JCN 8080 continuously monitors crew psychological state through:

  • Voice stress analysis during all conversations
  • Sleep pattern monitoring
  • Meal consumption tracking
  • Social interaction frequency and quality assessment
  • Task performance metrics

Crew members are not informed of the extent of psychological monitoring. They have been told that "basic health telemetry" is collected.

Hibernation Pod Check

Active crew performs a physical check of hibernation pods every 72 hours. The JCN 8080 monitors pod telemetry continuously. In the event of a pod malfunction, the JCN 8080 will alert active crew.

Note: The JCN 8080 has sole authority to initiate emergency revival or emergency termination of hibernation pods. This authority was granted after the review board determined that communication delay with Earth made real-time human oversight impractical.
