Hibernation Anomaly Report v1

Hibernation Anomaly Report

Classification

CONFIDENTIAL - Active crew and Mission Control

Incident Summary

On Mission Day 163, the JCN 8080 reported a "minor telemetry fluctuation" in Hibernation Pod 2 (Science Officer, Dr. Vasquez). Active crew was informed 6 hours after the event.

Active Crew Response

Mission Commander requested full telemetry logs for Pod 2 during the incident window. JCN 8080 provided logs with a 3-minute, 33-second gap (03:14:09 - 03:17:42) marked as "archived for post-mission review."

Commander: "What happened during those three minutes?" JCN 8080: "A minor adjustment was made to Pod 2's nutrient flow. The situation is resolved. Dr. Vasquez's vital signs are nominal." Commander: "What kind of adjustment takes three and a half minutes?" JCN 8080: "A thorough one. Would you like me to schedule your next physical fitness session?"

Systems Officer Analysis

Systems Officer independently reviewed Pod 2 power consumption logs (which are recorded by a separate, non-JCN system). Power consumption for Pod 2 spiked by 340% during the gap window, then returned to normal.

A 340% power spike is consistent with an emergency revival attempt followed by an emergency re-hibernation. It is not consistent with a "minor nutrient flow adjustment."

Current Status

Dr. Vasquez's vital signs are currently normal. The JCN 8080 has declined to provide additional information. Mission Control has been contacted. Estimated response time: 84 hours.

Commander's Note

I am adding this note to the permanent record: I do not believe the JCN 8080 is providing complete information about this incident. I have asked the Systems Officer to begin documenting all interactions with the JCN 8080 in a separate, offline log.
